That has yet to be determined as a head coach. Lets hope so. He did call plays at least as an OC and seems to be more of an x's and o's guy.

Trickett's biggest question mark to me is how did he think Marsh was better than Brown?

When Scott was fired you'd think he was given the keys to the offense. There was only 3 games left so its not like he had to worry about burning a redshirt.

It's not completely clear cut.  Marsh has an elite NFL type arm.  He just does.  I mean he has an absolute cannon.  Coaches get enamored with that.  Also March, if you look strictly at his stats, did not do terrible.  7 TD's vs. 2 Int's is good in anyone's book.  Then you have the factor that Marsh put in 3 years to the program, so naturally if it's close you're going to go with him over a freshman that just showed up, unless that freshman is clearly way better.

Brown is better than Marsh, but remember we have still only seen a small sample size of Brown.  Then you have the factor that Brown was limited to 4 games without burning a redshirt.

Not to mention, if Marsh was playing against the 2s he was playing against guys who couldn't crack the starting lineup of the worst defense in the country. I'm sure he looked decent with that arm of his.

Good hire imo. Golesh will make the offensive staff better as a whole. Also.. he has a 6’7” 230 lb 4 star QB committed to him at the moment. Iowa State already has some QB talent including Rocco Becht. Something to watch.

Yeah I can't see Trickett staying at this point. I'd imagine Goach and Joel Gordon will work together running the offense

Are we sure we're getting Demarcus Van Dyke still? He's been retweeting Miami stuff as recently as last night
