I am okay with deprato and mo. The offensive line looked better each season under him. Sims I am not sure because outside of Boyles our linebackers never stood out or took a huge step forward. I would be willing to take him because he had bad dcs and lack of talent willing to lay it on the line every game all game. We need to prioritize  tackling overa and coverage schemes and skills in the backfield.

And believe our new DC is expected to be DC/LB Coach as at FAU. We'll see as seemed he did well at Recruiting.

If we infuse enough UCF and FAU, we may once again become USF.

I feel the linebackers carried the defense.

You feel wrong    Gaps were never filled and backers always were caught up in the wash and never could get off one on one blocking.

little nervous hiring a grad assistant from his previous school as an oline coach. I didn't think coach Mo was that bad, we only let up 14 sacks all last year. Only reason to be more optimistic on this guy over Bowers (also a former player grad assistant we gave his first coaching job) is he wasn't a physical freak. Sometimes if a guy was too great of a player it can be hard for them to teach guys without that baseline athletic ability

It's all relative though.  Relative to the rest of the defense.
