VPMK better have Leavitt’s phone number because if we miss out on Deion and Chadwell, Leavitt is the only guy left that would get the fan base excited. We better not bring in some OC with no coaching experience.

Howard finished the season at 5-6, an improvement from:

Wins this season -- none of the opponents finished the season with a .500 or better record:
1. 31-0 over 1-9 Morehouse College
2. 35-17 over 5-6 Delaware State
3. 49-21 over 2-9 Norfolk State
4. 28-14 over 3-8 South Carolina State
5. 35-6 over 4-7 Morgan State

Larry Scott is only 45 years old, he has time and needs to prove a lot more than this to get a HC job at the FBS level.

I respect the points and for the record don't think we go with him but we are dumpster fire now, with 1 FBS win in the last 3 years. He took a dumpster fire Howard team and they won a share of their conference this year. It's the proven turnaround that I like with him. All the other points are valid for sure though.

Fun fact about Manny Diaz...

His last year at Miami he went 5-3 in conference. 

All 3 losses were by 3 points or less.

I would become a season ticket holder again if we hired Manny. He just needs to surround himself with a solid staff.
