but it sounds like USF got their first choice whoever that is....

Yes as long as we got our guy, we will have to live or die on that.  The current trend is die.

MK has been trolling everyone.  Here's your new coach

Honestly, I would be on board with Kerwin Bell. The biggest thing he has against him is he tied himself to the sinking Charlie Strong ship, but the man's been a winner everywhere else. Put it this way: if he had been hired after Willie left instead of Strong, I think we're in an entirely different place now.

Didn't USF tweet that they had their guy and told the other candidates they weren't interested?

No.  They allegedly told two candidates (incl herman) they were out of the running.

yeah, not saying it's the right choice...just thinking the way USF makes decisions....think of who we hired last time.  The fact we might have turned down Herman is intriguing because that would mean we found someone better.  Although, once again USF making the decision, so who knows....

I agree but can you imagine Mk selling him to the fan base after this clown show with Deion?

Oh I agree. I don't think Kerwin is the hire and I understand why the average fan would react the way they would if that was the announcement. But personally, if he was interested in the gig now, I'd definitely listen

No normal coach is going to get anyone fired up yet coming off of 1 win and throwing the UCF game for mysterious reasons.

he hasnt controlled the narrative and let rumors run wild

this guy is so incompetent

why cant he say who is not a candidate?

he should have never fired scott in season if he didnt have a replacement.

How many schools with current openings have come out and said who IS NOT a candidate? Or for that matter, what school has come out and said WHO IS a candidate?

I cannot think of any. All media leaks.
