Easily the most confident a freshman has looked. He was poised and in command. Having fun and supporting his team. Now it was tulsa but we have played defenses all year. We should be scoring 40 a game with our skill players and he made it happen. If not for 3 turnovers we may have dropped 60

Exactly. A game we "should" have won.

I'd like to see a little more but BB looks like the real deal.  In one game, he looked light years better than McClain ever did.  Hope the new coach can convince him to stay.

Yep, he's the reason McClain left, not GB.   This is what CJS did well.  We have some talent on that side of the ball and it will end up starting with this kid and of course Battie

Is he our next Q?

Yes with the potential to be better

What is the offensive line situation next year?  It's really good now.

Yes, CJS did well on the offensive side in my opinion.  We are pretty good for this conference.

I hope Byrum and this buzz is enough to get the skill guys around him to stay. Keeping Battie, Horn, and potentially Weaver with what Byrum has shown being able to spread the field... We're an average defense away from being a solid team. Just pray there's not much turnover offensively, and that we can make a quick turnaround on defense.

With the way Trickett has called games lately, really hoping Tom Allen falls in our lap for recruiting and defensive purposes, then we hang on to Trickett

Definitely solid, maybe more.

Certainly a chance. Just don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves yet after this one great start. Won't be an easy turnaround but at least we'd be more fun to watch week in and out. Hoping he has another great start against UCF. Cause if we can keep the playmakers around him this offseason, all bets are off with the schedule next season

Edit: Just been let down too many times before, so very hesitant to jump the gun here. But it is exciting seeing him come in and not burn any eligibility like this

That was one the best performances at qb in USF history when you think about it (broke the completion percentage record min 20 passes)..and he had a depleted relieving core...true freshman, first start...excited for the future

I'll worry every time he runs.  At least until the end of the season.  But yeah, he looked very good last night.
