So - how did we perform to what your expectations were? 

By and large it seems we did the same as usual with Shoop out of the box (and maybe out of the state) and Sims on the sideline. 

Do you think we'll see any improvement in the defense in final two games, maybe holding an opponent under 40?  A lot of people on this board love Ernie Sims.  He sure is animated on the sidelines, but will he be able to make a difference?  Even with giving up 40+ for the seventh time, did you see anything that gives you hope for better games ahead or that he confirms some belief that he's a legit candidate for next season's DC role?

As usual for this season, the team played hard for one half (first or second half, take your pick) but played like crap in the other half.   CDDP needs to do something about that quick if he wants to honor his pledge to make sure these young men have fun the rest of the season. (Paraphrasing what he said in his first press conference).

We have NO dogs on defense. Especially on the line. Maybe Eddie Kelly.

Might have something to do with the players? I know its taboo to say it….we really really need safeties and cbs

We need talent every on defense. We didn't got blown out in the first half at least.

It felt like we tackled much better. But we still can't get pressure up front or stop anyone through the air so it was the same result.

I like watching other games after our loss and seeing lbs, cbs shedding blocks and making tackles, like seeing safeties taking the right angle and tackling aggresively….not sure why we cant have nice things anymore

Actually have seen some progress on dline with Logan, kelly, and cheney….but lbs and secondary have been terrible(do like DJ Gordon though)
