When do the injuries stop being anomalies and become a pattern?

Someone needs to ask what's going on in the weight room.

Is it that our guys are undersized? Do they need to supplement their diets or add some yoga? Not trying to be funny.

Would be interesting to see how our roster (height/weight) compares in our conference.

I don't know what the answer to the question is but I do think it would be funny if all we were missing was yoga.

It's not a bad idea.

There are some that you may be able to point to as a bad pattern in the weight room, but I don’t see how Marsh getting whiplash today has anything to do with it. That was just an unfortunate incident.

I agree that was just a freak play. Football is a violent sport and we fired the only coach that had lasting success here for  allegedly slapping a kid in the head? Even though the player's own statements were conflicting and denied it.

I had also wondered this, so I quickly did a comparison of USF and UCF (sorry, I'm not going to do the whole conference). I took the average height and weight of each position, according to the rosters. In most positions, our average is either larger than UCF or just slightly less.

Average Height and Weight Comparison
Position UCF Height USF Height UCF Weight USF Weight
CB 6.17 6.00 185.00 187.50
DB 6.01 6.03 184.33 191.22
DE 6.26 6.26 242.92 251.10
DL   6.22   283.80
DT 6.22 6.15 290.22 281.50
LB 6.12 6.10 216.27 218.07
LS 6.10 6.11 215.00 221.33
OL 6.48 6.38 309.71 300.81
QB 5.99 6.23 186.67 209.29
RB 5.87 5.82 199.75 199.57
S 6.08 6.02 185.00 185.56
TE 6.31 6.37 236.00 239.33
WR 6.09 6.04 186.88 184.53

So  is the coaching not teaching good techniques, a terrible injury prevention program, or bad luck? IT could be all 3 ?

That is not why whe was fired.  Even Brad agrees with me on that.

I heard they took Marsh to Tampa General. No clue if that’s fact.
