**** it! How hard is it to simply say no? Also VPMK doesn’t want to acknowledge this was a complete disaster and embarrassment and also thinks going through his network of coaches that created this disaster is the most solid base for this search.

It's not ... but if you say no to one, you start geting "whattabout _____?" questions.  Easier to just decline to comment at all.

There are only a handful that will completely dominate conversation if any are not being considered the correct move is to answer those. That he couldn’t even say good afternoon before being asked about Gruden tells me better discussion can be had by dismissing the discussion as soon as we decide that’s not a reasonable solution (which should take multiple seconds of consideration).
