The More I’m watching the more I’m convinced they don’t have athletes on defense which is really Astonishing

This is the hard part to stomach, even with less talent and instinct, there is no reason we're not able to recruit speed and athletes.

2nd down and 20 drop back 15 yards and let them pick up 16. 🤢

2nd and 20 and we give up 16.  I don't understand the defensive schemes.

Their QB remains relatively unscathed after multiple one-on-one opportunities

He’s too busy trying to recruit players from SC, GA etc. Not saying we should never get players from there, but the majority of the team should be from Florida. There are enough guys with speed and talent here.

Definitely in a zone defense, guys aren't reacting well, and we're not really able to get any pressure on the QB (or missing him when we do). All around bad.

None of us will know, but sometimes receivers responsibility is to settle down in a zone, if man coverage, keep moving. If QB and WR aren't on the same page, hard to make good things happen.

I guess Weaver could have run the wrong route, but I can not see a crossing route resulting in settling in a zone
