I don't know.  I've watched since the beginning and I remember complete letdown feeling in the failures of Holtz and Taggart.  Each of a different variety, but certainly CJS' streak is the longest and probably feels the worst (even though Outlaw wants to cut him a break for covid).

Seriously, tho ... with COVID there were games where USF had 30-35 or more players that couldn't play.

Teams that didn't have that problem were able to win more than they lost.

Isn't that worth some kind of consideration for the 1-8 season? Or does the 2021 season's continued losing eliminate all consideration for 2020?

I will guess the warming votes are family  members of Scott and agent.

No, it does.  I am in your camp for 2020s 1-8.  Triply hard for a new coach to come into that situation - before games are even played.  I was just ribbing Outlaw.

Holtz was bad but they still were in it until the end of most games.  CWT’s first season was awful but the second season started with MM running for 3 td’s and 275 yards against WCU and then we started to see some talent with a POwer I offense that was awful, at least the talent was evident.  I really don’t see any talent on the D side of the ball, he recruited Hector, Lee, Harris, Sanchez, Miami central kid  turned striker turned cardinal, etc… can’t remember all the names but you could see we had players, I just don’t see anything on the defensive side of the ball besides maybe Gordon and Dreads. Rest of them are poorly coached, out of position and slow and small.

Holtz's problem was the humidity

Combusti-bull, temperature of the center of a 100 megaton thermonuclear explosion H O T

USF athletics will continue to USF the s*** out of this, CJS will get maybe one more win, and we'll hold on to him through next season acting like 1-22 against FBS opponents in year 3 is improvement

Take a look at his lifetime record. Only sub .500 stop was here. Now includes a championship in the USFL.  Let's get back to that curse discussion.

Still carrying this guys water after all these years?  I no longer have any ill will towards him, CCS and CJS got him off the hook.

The Washington Generals probably thought they were cursed.
