Chuckles brought us Sterlin Gilbert... this negates your argument.

It doesn't make Scott better... Scott is worse but not "light years" worse.

What about when you factor for the fact we got to pay both of them for CJS to be worse? And before anyone tries to say what if that happens again, it’s mathematically impossible for anyone to do worse than CJS, his is the epitome of failure and if VPMK wasn’t the worst leader in all of athletics he would have already been gone.

This is not technically true.  CJS has not gone 0-fer, like George O'Leary did back in Oviedo.  So it can get mathematically worse, if only by a small margin.

Emotionally, however, it cannot be worse than CJS.  If a new coach goes 0-12 in 2023, USF fans will still say "still better than CJS"

Paraphrasing the great Michael Scott if I were in a room with CJS, CSH and CSS and I had a gun that had only two bullets I’d shoot CJS twice

Did Oleary and Frost have a better win percentage than 4.5% in fbs football and a better bowl win percentage than 0%? Asking for a friend...

He got to do that exactly once, and then he was fired like you are supposed to have happen. CJS has a VPMK which allows for this perpetual wheel of failure that no one on earth is afforded. You realize to match CJS record Nick Saban would have for go 0-12 for the next 135 years?

That is not what @puc86said.  A new coach who loses every game is MATHEMATICALLY worse than a coach that goes 4-22... Spiritually, emotionally, philospohically, or any other measure it's a difference without much of a distinctions.  But he said "mathematically impossible."

The chances of a new coach losing every game are significantly (astonishingly) small... but mathematically not zero.

This is a terrible argument.
GOL won conference championships and BCS bowls before going 0fer and getting fired.
CJS has won 1 FBS game in 2 1/2 years…

Which one is worse?

O'Leary wasn't fired, he retired -- announced it during the season.  And he did it twice.  In 2004 and in 2015.

I didn’t say for one season, CJS is three years deep into his steps backwards while never once attempting to move forward. No one gets to fail at this level as long as VPMK is willing to tolerate it
