Just was over on ECU 247 site and saw a post that read the game could be moved up there.

That's wishful thinking from fans who really want to watch football... but the chance is not zero.

It would be hard to coordinate travel, and there is a question of whether players, staff, coaches, and fans would want to leave behind homes and families that just went through a hurricane.

Like I said ... it's not a "zero chance" but quite unlikely.

USF won't be able to practice at all on Wednesday or Thursday.. and Friday may be out of the question.  Plus if the storm stays close to the shore, the airports will get damage from storm surge - so flights might be an issue.

The logistics just aren't there.

Plus in 48 hours the storm will be hitting Tampa.

I guess that could be part of what they are waiting 48 hours for, to see what the impact is on the bay area

I would rather not play then force the team to travel to ECU on short notice then have an opportunity to be with  or near their family is tragedy strikes the bay.  Lets just get Jeff Scott allow Clemson to let us use their field  for a home game. He can tell us more about his success there and find some magic left from his time there.

So, with the game moving to FAU, I would expect the line to move slightly (I believe a team usually gets 3.5 for playing at home)

I hope the Bulls can overcome the distractions.  As I recall, ECU has fared well in post-hurricane games against South Florida competition.  They even survived some projected powerful Canes.

You play to win play the game.  You don't just play to play.
