But you raise an excellent point. Is our donation money better spent on Bulls Club or Fowler Ave Collective if a person has to choose between them?

We have an endowment that we're paying for that doesn't count for any of them.

Just joined.

With the Golden Brahman Society being launched for high $ capital projects

Annual Fund contributions ONLY going towards Bulls Club status

And this

It's going to be interesting to see where the $ flows.

I honestly have no idea where to direct my funds now.

And this is the problem.  The universe of people willing to financially support USF Athletics outside of ticket purchases is not very large.

@mgrothe8 was quoted in the Times as believing their are 5,000 to 8,000 people that could get behind this effort.  That might be a tad optimistic at the moment given the number of donors to USF Athletics is around 3,000 per year right now.  But we definitely have that potential.

-------------

IMHO ... if you can only afford to support ONE thing, the most important should be the Athletics Annual fund.  That is because the number of athletics donors is important in the realignment game.  UCF has ~10,000 annual donors.

If you can afford to support TWO things, then Fowler Avenue Collective is most certainly worth consideration.  Being out of state, it will be interesting to see what the actual benefits are... Will QB1 actually be allowed to make an appearance at your tailgate before a football game? I don't think so... but maybe before a WBB or MBB game.  That would be cool.  As this grows, I may add it to the groups I support.

Great question for the personal budget.
