I think they are carefully de-emphasizing the helmet.  I am hoping we will get the real gold helmets back.

I remember going back to those a few years ago and we were losing a ton. So if we do go back to them they need to be altered in some way.

I think real real is an ND thing.  I mean not chrome where you can't see the logo and it looks bad on TV.

Next year we will have the C-USA teams replacing CIncy, Houston, and UCF... plus FAMU, @ U Conn, @ Western Kentucky, and Alabama... so, 3-1 in OOC will make 8 wins that much easier to achieve.
