Man, WSB is crazy. You can ride one pitcher over and over like that? Does their throwing motion not lead to injuries?

Not as often as in baseball. They’ve  done studies that found the underhand motion is much better for the arm and has way fewer problems with softball pitchers compared to baseball pitchers

Interesting thank you. That does make sense. So all you really need to two good pitchers and you can really go places. I remember when we made it the WSB Finals a while back we had one great arm (Nevins?).

Really just 1 would do. The year we went to the wcws was Kevin’s senior year and she was lights out all year. Unfortunately we didn’t give Nevins much support in terms of runs so she had to be lights out to win as often as she did

We will be fine as long as Georgina is pitching. Good thing that in softball that means she will pitch a lot

Did she pitch at all against UF last week?

That’s why I was thinking you need two good pitchers.

True and their large gluteus Maximus helps not only with the speed but takes strain off their arms.  NEB has been using the underhand motion daily for years and has shown no injuries to date, so I would agree with your analysis.

Gators are always stacked along with the Seminoles as usual but there is a significant dropoff after georginia. Next year will be really rough but they are some girls that have shown some potential. Dolby (junior)  pitched 2 scoreless innings againt the Gators and I believe she is #3 behind Corrick and Poepping. Poepping gave up 6 runs in 0.2 innings against the gators but she is also a senior along with Georginia.
