He is 310-253, (2) NCAA tournament appearances, (4) NIT appearances with 1 championship, a CBI championship, 10 winning seasons out of 17 years. Yes, I personally consider that “reasonable” success. Outside of the CBI, he has NOT been successful here, which is why I wouldn’t have given him an extension, just saying that he isn’t a bum who has never won anything, anywhere.

He is pretty far removed from any meaningful success. After 5 years of pretty horrific offense here , I'd prefer to see us take a chance on a low or mid-major coach with RECENT success, than extend a guy who can't coach.
