Exactly. I don’t see ACC needing to take the PAC2 right now. If anything I see the ACC talking some big 12 schools to help with travel for SMU, Cal, and Stanford. Big 12 will probably end up taking the pac 2 after they get raided imo. USF to the ACC seems imminent now though

Those two make it easier on Cal and Stanford.

I always thought Judy’s focus on academics was to the detriment of athletics, but it’s looking like she proved me wrong. Academically and geographically we’re one of the better fits on that list for the ACC. AAU status and all the work to raise the standards to achieve it are looking good for making us an expansion candidate. If we’re not the most attractive on that list we’re not far behind any of them.

Football showing signs of life and basketball blowing expectations out of the water this year certainly don’t hurt either.

Heck yeah! Now we are seeing some winning and the fan support is growing. Just have to keep winning and USF will be fine whenever the next realignment happens imo

Hilarious to call UConn a basketball over academics move. As if UConn wouldn't be one of, if not THE, highest rated universities in the Big 12 and the highest among those listed as going to the ACC. USF, Tulane and UConn would be sound athletic AND academic additions.

Why is it the big12 fans talking about this?

I think it’s off season click bait.

They're a part of the vast 12Anon propaganda arm.

Anybody have metrics proving this? Also, does this "absolute truth" consider the future value of a football program once, let's say, USF gets to the ACC? 🤔

I think C.W. Lambert decreases the value of X.

Yes, and let me guess....Houston, Cinci, and UCF to XII didn't decrease value and neither did SMU to ACC?

I don't think so.  In the past promoted schools are "in" and magically they were considered better.  Plus, I don't think there's been that many promotions to base this theory on.  Those in power have closed entry to those that are not.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
