not good for us

Doesn't really change much of anything.

The ACC will be losing teams.  USF needs to get back to winning ways.

The path has now become more clear for USF. They start winning and they are pretty much FSU’s replacement.  With that said, the OCS will move forward as that will be critical to helping USF create a home crowd atmosphere identity. These are very exciting times!! Go Bulls!!

I've said all along that Stanford and cal won't lower themselves to a merger with the AAC or mwc. They'd have sooner gone independent. Makes sense that they're going to find a solution with the acc.

Time to shut down our football program and join a different conference for other sports.

Nah too soon. If USF doesn’t earn that ACC invite then i could see people saying that. However USF will prevail

Hate to say but we are not getting called up anytime soon. AD MK blew his chance getting USF to a power conference by hiring and extending Jeff Scott. If we did the logical thing and fire Scott after year two.   Then imagine if we hired a competent or successful coach like Herman and just went 7-5 or 8-4 last year. We probably would have been in the b12 expansion.

The tweet says this about future ACC members:

Big Ten: Northwestern SEC: Vanderbilt other G5: USF (new AAU member) That is 16 schools. You can add more schools by going with either ASU, Utah, Kansas, or others.

Not a chance, but nice try. This all goes back to firing Leavitt and every poor decision that followed. Also, the school gobbling up all donations to gain AAU status.

Tbh, it was too late to change much by the Jeff Scott hire. The Big 12 invites came right before the 2021 season, so CJS second season. Even if he went 7-5 his first year that wouldn't have raised attendance and viewership to where you'd want them fast enough.

We’ll be there for the last, best hope.
