Come on man, AD MK  is courageous he extended Jeff Scott with one fbs win in two seasons that was coaching  a team that looked no where close to turning a corner. He believed he was building a winner culture...  Five straight years of regression under AD MK and he still has the courage to collect his check.

To be fair he also recognized Weathford’s vanity project Florida polytechnic stadium resonated with the remaining fans which could help him out of the hot water that is his attempt at running an athletics program,  helped pick the fine institutions he hopes to help pass us (again) and used his connections at the ACC to help them realize they should stay together at all costs or they may one day have to take his phone call.

There is no greater proof that it’s easier to dupe people than it is to convince them they were duped than VPMK.

Any amount of money and time to implement his vision has been given has gotten us further from success and when it comes to national attention we take on our leader who appears to go into the witness protection program anytime anything that should be an exciting time in fandom comes around.

Shouldn't Stanford being trying to get into the BIG?  The ACC is not viewed as stable.  Quite an effort to move to the ACC when the BIG makes so much more sense.

Stanford holds the country’s fourth-largest endowment: $36.3 billion.

Could it afford to enter a conference for free and forgo any league distribution? Sure. Will it? In conversations with Big Ten and ACC officials, that prospect has been discussed. Such a move would change the calculus in the single most important piece of the ACC’s expansion decision: money.

Will the lobbying efforts of powerful political figures change minds and alter the votes of dissenting ACC members?

B1G is saving seats for ACC schools that bring in money. And their media partner blew its “emergency funds” with Washington and Oregon. Plus, what do Stanford and Cal bring to the table?

They have a better shot with the ACC. And that doesn’t mean it’s a good shot.

You wouldn’t lock a 11 year old thread just because USF joins the PAC-4.

Only after we join the SEC or Big 10. 😀
