ACC minus FSU, Clemson and maybe a couple more will likely get a worse deal than the Big 12 (even though I would argue it is just as good) ..... so I don't see WVU or Cincinnati leaving ..... unless, there is a brokered deal, as the Big 12 wants to drop that Eastern tier to focus west and take more PAC schools, but I don't even think a deal like that could happen, really hypothetical.

How wild will it be that if things continue to move down the path it's projected we will basically end up with a beafed up Big East 2.0

WVU, Louisville, Syracuse, Pitt, BC, UM, VT, Cinci (hopefully), USF, NC State, Duke, UConn, WF, GT

Considering the old Big East turned down $17MM/yr, that conference should demand a payment on par with the B12 at $31MM/yr. Plus the ACCN payout, which last year I think was about $7MM/school. If we added 2 more - Tulane and SMU would be my choices, maybe Memphis.

I think ACC will settle in the four spot.

Agree - and it looks like 4 conferences will be the power tier (with more power consolidated in the top 2)

How do you like them apples PAC-12? It looks like the remaining "Corner Schools" may be considering rolling out over Harland's dead body.

Dang! I was only trying to keep the board active during the offseason by posting all these crazy conference realignment speculation. I had no idea that Colorado would be the move that made the realignment craze go to another level lol

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
