I am tempted to the same.  Over the past 10-14 years we have seen our visiting teams go from WV/L'Ville/Syracuse/Pitt/Rutgers to now (potentially) FAU/Charlotte/North Texas/Rice/Tulsa.  For anyone who was around in Big East days, the tickets no longer hold the value they once did.  Casual fans don't want to see these teams. I may get some tickets for next year, but I will definitely be reducing the number I buy.

And that is the problem. The fact we were in the BE is why most people cannot deal with the reality. I could say more about the BE relative to us actually being deserving of the opportunity, how we screwed the opportunity, how we had some successes and failures, etc. but why bother. Right now I almost wish none of it actually happened.

So sad....I initially thought I read 6 teams apply for membership in the ACC.  And said to myself USF better have been one of them.   And then I realized I was wrong about the conference.  And then I saw the schools applying. 🤮 😭

Such a tangled mess USF is.  No real leaders who can take the university to where it belongs and where it once was, although very shortly.  SO SAD.

True but the UNT stadium is 40 minutes from the largest casino in the world Winstar,  much better then dumpy Shreveport and closer then Rustin to Shreveport.
