Interesting article about how Big Ten could get real hurt by losing Comcast, and how schools like Rutgers quickly becomes dead weight for a league.

The landscape is changing, and that could only mean more opportunity for USF

Hoping we're well positioned with the deals we've made recently.

Very interesting...hope a shift comes soon. Regardless, once your in the Big10 you are in. No P5 conference will kick out one of its brothers. If Penn State and Baylor survived then so will everyone else. I still think our best chance is with a depleated Big12 and we merge with best of the AAC.

This would not be a power conference, any conference that has all of the AAC in it will be forever seen as minor league. We need to jump at any chance we get and leave as many of these teams behind as we possibly can.

Agree 1000 percent but I am still not watching P5 until we get in. 1/3 of those teams are trash and still get a pay day. F them.

I don’t blame you I just aspire to one day be so lucky and to no longer associate with scum we have the misfortune of calling conference mates. If they are coming with us I say it’s not even worth the bother to make any changes as Iowa, Iowa State and Oklahoma State added to this pile of dreck is still a pile of dreck and no closer to the promise land. We need the big 12 to lose a couple at most and then we need to join cinci and uconn in filling in that space in the big 12 then maybe just maybe the gods shine on us and the other power 4 let us keep our standing. If the big 12 has so many defections that they fall apart and those teams left are forced to join the AAC we are doomed.

Yes you are correct that is the way to go. I think if there is any movement OU and TX are the two big dogs that will leave though. Once that happens KU could end up in the Big10 because of MBB and who knows what other movements happen. It’s a delicate situation as I think four teams need to leave the Big12 for us to move there but, as you point out, is that conference too watered down then? If GT and UNC could leave for the Big10 that would really stur up the shitstorm and we could have even more options.

KU has gone a month without landing an athletic director. They are a never was/never will be in Football. It's only a matter of time before they are on the outside looking in.

Perhaps but their basketball is something difficult to ignore. They are one of the few programs that could be taken for that alone.

I don't mean to pee in anyone's Cheerios, but exactly what have we accomplished to be in a P5 conference over any of the current teams?  We probably need to hope and position ourselves for expansion, not replacement
