Houston coach Tom Herman says if Coogs beak Oklahoma, Mike Aresco's "not gonna jog out to the 50-yard line and hand us the (AAC) trophy."

As far as USF's chance of getting in the Big 12, McMurphy thinks it's a 3-horse race.. BYU, Houston, Cincy

This whole typo thing is tiring and overblown, but a typo in a tweet is not comparable to a typo in official university correspondence (even if it was a draft which is honestly still up for debate).

Part of the problem is that so many people know so little about USF, that this is now a part of our story. It's not fair or intellectually honest, but that doesn't matter.

Well if we are not in... Houston and BYU is best case scenario for us... So in the interest of keeping the thread going who will be the replacement for Houston in the AAC?  I say add Rice... Good baseball program..

Pass on Rice... UTSA? San Diego State? Los Lobos? Or maybe we should start with the unrealistic candidates like B12 did and throwing out the names of ACC and PAC12 teams?

This is the right question.   My choice would be to go after Air Force again.

If we only need to replace one team, I would love getting either Air Force or Army, or both if we lose two. Gives us some tradition. I know they've declined in the past, but we're no longer a power conference and it wouldn't hurt to inquire.
