Again, we are AAC for a long while. That is the way it is.

This would be a decent conference - IF the money was on par with the P5 conferences.  Big if, though.

It wouldn't even have to be on par.

It would need to settle at about half of what the P5 are doing, which would be roughly 10-12 million a season.  Unfortunately we're at about 1/10th of half.

The money divide is what's going to kill us.  We can still get players to be competitive.  It's a problem when position coaches are getting paid more than head coaches.  Hell there are a handful of coordinators making more.  It's only a matter of time before the added money trickles down the staff.

I would to have the problem that we are so successful that a coach is leaving for another program. That being said I hope we have big money alumni and doners to keep our coaches.

I agree that it's a good situation when a coach leaves for a "better" program.  However, when the day comes that Willie Taggart leaves his 1 million dollar USF head coaching job to take a $1.5 million RB coach job at Stanford, that's an issue.  That's a drastic example, but with the widening gap, it's a possible reality to come.

This is based on about as much reliable intel as every other post in this thread. You are just guessing but you don't know that to be true.

No, I think it is about 1.15 ish

We are paying 3 head coaches, so we dialed back the salary a little.

I would be willing to bet that this is more right than most of the BS on this thread. We are AAC for at least six years.

Expand the time horizon guys... In ten years USF and UCF may be one of the biggest games of the season. Imagine both rank top 10 would get national spotlight. I think we may see a top 20 match up sooner than later.
