That would be a gamble for everyone involved, but if it gets us in the Big 12, that's a new lease on life for us.

It will no doubt be harder though-we are going to have to work harder to be winners. WVU went from being a dominationg BCS contender to being middle of the road in the Big 12. Who knows? Florida is excellent for talent, perhaps we'll have a better chance.

The common perception is that West Virginia was dominating their last few years in the Big East, but that's not true.  They dominated (except against us) during the White/Slaton years, but for quite a while the Big East was a toss up between a bunch of teams, most years with co-champions.  You could make a claim that Cinci has been the most dominating in the last 5 years.

I think we should all be at least encouraged by our name being mentioned. Last round it was as if we did not exist. Depressing at the time.
