Still doesn't make much sense ... ACC hasn't previously needed to do a b-ball vs. f-ball school split like the BE does and they still don't, imo.

Yeah I would think any basketball/football split would almost assuredly push FSU/Clemson out as they are pissed enough already at the basketball schools pulling the strings in the ACC. Of course, maybe thats why the rumor is out there as the ACC expects further defections. This all sucks.

That's what I thought until I read tweet saing UVA (Known) and UNC next options for B1G, USF needs 2 more ACC defections and one of those to be FSU, otherwise ACC would pick UL, UConn, and Cincy over USF.

UConn going to ACC solidifies it as the #1 basketball conference. They also just went to the Orange Bowl what...3 years ago? I hope they're headed out...

I also see us getting picked up before cincy.
