Do we name a starting Running Back tomorrow?

I would say Joiner. I hope he beefed up this offseason. I expect more out of the Oregon transfer this year as well. We do have the bigger back coming back as well. If our line actually improved so will our running game. The biggest weakness was their strength and conditioning. Hopefully they added some power and mass so they can get dirty in the trenches.

My money's on Mangham (Colorado transfer) picking up the bulk of snaps. Joiner and Felix will get their fair share but Mangham's impressed during camp.

I think you will see a healthy rotation. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with 3 guys per game with 8 to 12 carries each.

I think he has the potential to be like Michael Warren at Cincy a few years back, the guy was so powerful at the G5 level he could just drag guys for 4 more yards after making contact.

I don't remember seeing Felix during Saturdays scrimmage.

While googling Mangham I saw he has a brother thats a 4 star recruit this year. Committed to Michigan State a few weeks back, but maybe if his brother becomes a star this year down here he'll think about coming down to Tampa to join him. The NIL possibilities for 2 brothers that are both major players would be interesting

Also competes in track and field (100, 200, long jump, relays). 2020: As a junior, played both ways at WR and DB; helped Groves to a Michigan Division 2...
