The Mrs and I love San Antonio. Only been there a few times and it has been a lot of years. You can find all kinds of food on the Riverwalk, not just Mexican.  Don't know if I would live there but nice for a long weekend trip.

So this isn't where the tournament is being held?

I would doubt there would be another one and the poster did say it was a remote area...

Any advice for Austin? The last time I was there I was much younger and less married so I do not think my ideas of a good time in Austin would match my wife’s ideas for Valentine’s Day. You guys appear to be much more shut down than our post Covid approach here in Florida.

If you are downtown than 6th street is still enjoyable, and your wife would enjoy it as well.  Lot of restaurants, bars, music etc.. Austin is very liberal so that town may be locked down some however the rest of the state is as wide open as Florida.

I think I’ve found some more adult options (like Roosevelt room and some speak easy called something Cowboy modeling) in that area as it’s where we will be staying but part of me still wants to hit up the college bars, safely of course... I think they even have a Mardi Gras bar crawl scheduled that weekend. Finding dinner plans on Valentine’s Day is where I realized they have Covid capacities that are less than the fire martials which is where I believe we have set ours.

I really don’t go there much, it is no longer in my territory and I don’t care for it much.  Too liberal, too weird, trying to be like San Francisco.
