Q was never going to be the backup QB. Can't have your backup QB out there as a starter in another position and have him get hurt.

I'm not sure why QF would be a bigger draw than Aaron Murray who played his High School ball right down the street at Plant High and then played at an SEC school in college.  Ultimately winning games

I hope this turns out to be a better brand of football than the AAF.  That was almost unwatchable.  With Flowers and Murray (being a Plant guy) really hope to see this succeed.  

Although history says it wont last.
