Chase wasn't available at the time. Also, I'm sure CJS didn't promise Fortin anything other than the ability to compete for the starting job.

Its a no-brainer for us.....but I can't imagine that he won't get much bigger P5 offers. 

Some people are saying he is a Top 5 QB in the nation.  I have no idea if that really true or not.  He has been basically sitting for 2 years with Trevor at the helm.

And this is his time to make his mark for nfl scouts.  He's probably getting better visibility with a P5 team.  It would be great if he went with USF, but I won't get my hopes up.

I say OK,UGA,LSU, Ole Miss, Miss St, Oregon, FSU, or any major program gets him before we do. Wish for the best, but realistically I don't see it happening. Stranger things have happened though. We got Fortin we need oline and dline just as bad if not worse.
