Is there a merit badge for sticking this game out and watching it to completion?

Faza will claim it.

Our D linemen look like midgets...

But, we're bigger and stronger this year.  Of course I read the same BS every year.

This O line is hot garbage and the D line might be worse.....and receivers can't

But our linebacker made tackles in high school.  A lot of them.  Some people on this here Board told me so.

Haven't seen yet.  What happened to him?

Do you REALLY think we would have scored with him in there?

You will get to me reasoning later-- BUT in a nutshell, say you designed most of your offensive around a special player. Happens a lot in college ball-- see it all the time really sometimes without noticing it directly. Anyway-- you have  this special player and without much if any warning- another coach comes along and takes that player off the field. And maybe he does it publicly to shame him which might even have a negative impact on an entire group of young men. But more to your point-- without this player who you were counting on greatly-- how effective is your offense expected to be in your first game as OC against a decent defense and a ranked program?

I don't have all the answers-- and I'm certainly not saying we should win this game-- but it sure as hell doesn't help to have these types of additional pressures on a new coach by some clown who is pretended to be one.

We hired a fired coach from Texas that lost vs Kansas.  We get what we deserve getting this retread coach.

You guys can crap on Doug Woolard all you want but he hired Tags and Harlan hired this guy.

Really-- you are going to go back through this entire thread and torture everyone on the board with snarky comments and make them relive this sheet show?

You don't have something better to do?

Sorry for you guys that are going to be fully engaged this season. Wife and I are having twins some time in the next 6 weeks, I won't have the energy to worry about this. Hopefully when I am awake again, Strong will be gone and we'll be moving in some positive direction.

I can guarantee he won't be here in 18 years.  Good luck.
