2 FG kickers this year?

Looks like this guy has a strong leg and boomed one from 53 yards in the scrimmage with plenty to spare.  CCS said something to the effect of if we get to the 40 he has confidence in his leg.  Sounds like Weiss will be the guy under 40 and this guy will handle long attempts.

I think that’s for QBs...many teams have had success with two PKs.

Haven’t heard that one. Need someone who can boom it and one that can pin opponents back. Me likely dos feet.

It was however I applied it for kickers as well.  Many have used 2 kickers with one handling kick offs and the other for FG’s with success however don’t remember a successful tandem sharing short and long FG’s.

CCS hasn’t said that he will use 2 kickers this year however he did seem excited about his length (insert joke here)

Fine with the two kickers if each do the job they are asked to do.  Hopefully the long fg kicker can get us touchbacks on special teams.

Touchbacks on kickoffs isn’t something we’ve seem in a while.

This we all agree with and needed to do something because we were at a distinct disadvantage last year with short kick offs, however sharing FG duty seems like a recipe for disaster.
