In short... yes.  I remember his recruiting, was Willie's first year.  But in all honestly you couldn't really blame the guy, we were a dumpster fire... it sucked because up until signing day I thought we'd get him.  We were his last official too.  Better late than never though.

Most kids want to play at the highest level and, believe they will earn a starting spot, so if they get a P5 offer they take it.

USF should absolutely not stop taking transfers. Not every transfer will turn out like Marquez Valdes-Scantling, but if you stop taking transfers you will definitely miss out on the next MVS.

Indeed, Adams and Valdez Scantling were both transfers...  I mean we do pretty darn well with transfers if you really look at it  Guys like  MVS and Adams have opened some eyes in terms of transferring home to play.  Both came back and got drafted.  Now with Cronk, Barnett, and McDoom it appears we'll continue that newly formed tradition of letting players come home to play.  We send them away on their 1 or 2 year missions and then they come home ready to get to business.

However, do be aware that going forward the ncaa is going to make immediate eligibility more difficult. We have lived off that in the past.

That's fine by me. Most of these waivers are b.s. anyway.
