I am one that gets critical of USF Athletics, that being said this has been a magical season. If someone would have told me that we would not only be in a Post Season tournament but would be playing in the final game with a chance to bring home a trophy and cut down the nets, I would have thought they needed to be drug tested. What Coach Gregory has done in 2 years is absolutely unbelieveable for a program who has shown no signs of life since the amazing Tournament run in 2012. We only lose 1 guy to graduation. The core of the team is young and will be back next year. I really enjoyed following this team and look forward to being in a better tournament next year. One game left, lets win this thing. #GoBulls #BeatDePaul #BringHomeTheHardware #CBI

Agreed. Note that two seniors, Big Nic and TJ are graduating.

True. But Nic no longer plays since the conference schedule started.

That's not entirely true. He got the start on Sr. night and was a big body to throw at Tacko. He's also probably the most enthusiastic guy on the bench.

If you think losing Big Nick is a loss then you need to watch more USF basketball. This team will be a force next year. We won’t win the conference but should be in the top 4.

With the experience this team has gotten in this CBI tournament (win or lose Game 3), another year of growth and maturity, along with some talented newcomers coming in.......barring injuries, we are set up for a FUN season next year!

And the second most enthusiastic is little Ronnie Lubin, also a senior ...... walk-ons are people to.

I don't think anyone thinks Nik is a loss on the court but he, along with the other 2 seniors, are part of what made up this team, this year ....

When not blowing teams out, all you can hope for in college hoops is a close game at the end and then roll the dice with your emotions.
