You know you're not allowed on the field.  They come out before the end of the game in force to show that you are not allowed on the field.  The cops are right there.  If you jump on the field be ready to be grabbed by TSA or the cops.  If you fight back like most did, expect to get roughed up.  The celebrating with the team thing is a stupid excuse.  After the game, the whole team ran to the student section to high-five and show their appreciation.  I'm sure if one of the drunk students jumps over the rail and breaks his neck, his parents will be suing the stadium for not protecting him.  Yell, cheer, enjoy the victory, but when you know something is wrong and choose to do it anyway, expect the consequences.

If you have your own stadium on campus, the school controls it and there is nobody telling you not to rush the field, therefore all the positivies that Ray Jay is thrown completely down the tubes for this exact reason

This is total BS.  Instead of cheering the team after the clocked ticked zero, the rest of the stadium was booing the TSA/cops/rental whatevers for this stupid display of force.

The players were pumped when they thought the field was being stormed many players expressed how glad they were that the fans were coming out to celebrate and it was only after they noticed the TSA over reacting that they made their way over to the stands.

Basically they made an example of about 5-10 people so that everyone could see it and no one would do it again.

Maybe the biggest problem of all though is that there were no longer any security by the stands.  So when a fight broke out between two drunk guys, it just kinda kept escalating with no one to stop it.  You think SOMEONE would have stayed up there.

If you're going to storm the field, you went about it the wrong way.  You have to go in numbers, not 2-3 at a time to be grabbed.  That just showed that the majority of fans in that area really weren't interested in getting onto the field, just a few drunk fans.
