Yep! As I said, Holtz is Strong but never had the luck. The big plays always went against him. Strong always had the luck plays go for him.

Strong made a call in that game where i thought to myself that guy is a terrible coach. I can't remember what it was but i thought he either had no balls or brains.

Strong and his staff are much better recruiters than Holtz's band. The Holtz years were bleak. Strong and Holtz are not comparable.

Found this article after game vs UL...wow where have we heard this before 

First of all, "almost beat" someone is stupid. This isn't some little FCS school who isn't expected to hang in there with the big boys. Second of all, USF should have won. Louisville was BEGGING to lose this game. They have no killer instinct whatsoever (buyer beware on Charlie Strong) and they went through the motions for long stretches of the game. I came away from this game thinking they are horribly overrated.
