They come out and gash us and we seem content to have long, bruising drives.  I don’t think we through a true deep ball until late 3rd, maybe 4th.  Outside of HB dive comments, didn’t you think we played wrong tempo, wrong risk/reward for a long time in a game that we knew our defense was not going to keep us in it?

Scored 36. Gave up 50+. That is all.

The score might have been worse had we not had those drives. Not to mention Blake and the offense are better driving the balk than those inefficient long balls.

I was ok with running the ball and long drives this game with the way our defense was total trash if we kept going 3 and out Houston puts 70+ on the board.

This loss was totally on our defense they were good on first and second down but third was a **** show.

We didn't do enough to get pressure on King...we really need to get more studs on defense.

Awesome insight!  But if your defense can’t get a stop, don’t you have to do something different on offense?  Like forego FGs?

I guess. But it depends on your definition of long and bruising. Our longest drive of the day was 5:13 for 83 yards.

All first half wr were dropping balls or barnett was missing em. If youre coach what else are you supposed to dox double down? Until they can nail the basics I don't blame the play calling.

Long is a relative term.

I guess it’s the basketball coach in me.  Instead of setting picks on the low block we might start opening up some threes.

I guess hoping a bad defense will get better is an option.

How about improve your defense.  Chasing points is a losing strategy.
