I think CCS leaves at a time of his choosing, not USF’s, either because the pay isn’t sufficient or because he wants to return to a P5 school. It would be ludicrous to fire CCS with his body of work and recruiting prowess.

Once Louisville figures out their whole coaching situation issues, they might jump at the chance to get CCS back (not sure if he left there on bad terms). Right or wrong move for them-- it is a potential place he might end up someday. Personally-- I think both parties are better off with him staying here for at least one more season.

I agree that some fans like making this "fire the coach" threads for some pretty petty reasons or to have a venue to throw out their personal bias because they do not like the way a guy coaches.  It is not very logical or well thought out on their part - sort of like joining the army before you get drafted (if you catch my drift, Cruiser).

CCS will always be on the hot-seat so long as CJL is out there coaching, waiting for his chance to lead USF back to glory.

He's not even worth saving the money from Texas, because the program is being ruined right in front of your eyes.

DNR??? Our team is playing poorly for 3qtrs games and is making stupid mistakes. This is an issue we have seen from this year and from last year. If we win a conference championship somehow doing this I'll be surprised.

Now I'm happy CCS did this.

Ruining the program? Are you f’n serious? I guess you don’t follow college recruiting nor the fact that we are 6-0. You want the up tempo spread that has won us zero championships?

It's won just as many championships as every other style offense we've run so really this argument is dumb and a cop out to avoid arguing the actual point.

No not really...we ran the other for over 15 years and won squat. We are year two with this system. Plus we are mid season so the jury is still out if it will work this year (unlike the spread where it was a known loser for championships)
