Paul Johnson's answer to a person who noted that Tobias Oliver had a rhythm when he was in the game.

Really glad they put Marshall back in the game ... Not sure we would have won if Oliver stays in.  But PJ is a cantankerous old bastard.  😆

But so am I.  I thought the kid was hurt.  And if he was, he couldn't play for me.  That play at the goal line seemed to ring his bell pretty good.

He was limping pretty good after a run, didn't think it was near the goal line ... I think it was legit ... PJ just decided they needed to pass and he didn't trust Oliver to do it.

That could be, but I would trust the senior to pass before the freshman that could run.  We have no idea is the frosh could throw any better.  I think Oliver got dinged at the goal line and that brought in a dinged up senior.  Oliver looked good as long as he could run and stay healthy.

Oh so you think Oliver got hurt at the goal line ... Thought you were talking about Marshall.  That makes sense, and could be, article didn't address it and neither did PJ.  Who knows ...

Personally, I like that. I think immediate post game pressers are complete ********, with stupid questions being asked in both locker rooms ..

PJ has a long history of being like that.  Yeah there were people getting injured on both sides of the ball...was a pretty physical game.

I don't really think it was a stupid question, I think PJ just reacted poorly to being second-guessed, although no-one really appreciates that a whole lot.

Yeah, I guess they're ALL not stupid questions but a morning after presser, to me, would be a lot better ... and then the legit, and stupid, ones may not hit as many nerves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
