I think 90% of this board thinks QF told xCWT to change the offense and said xCWT was smart for listening to him.

And at least that many think the same about that goaline story from DJ (I think it was him) about changing the play and NOT doing what the paid coaches told them to do.

Actually it was Auggie who said it was time for a change and singlehandedly came up with the gulf coast offense. That’s why xCWT hired him away from the NFL to a GAship at FSU.:stirpot:

I’ve played sports pretty much my entire life, and know what happens if you don’t listen to the coach...you don’t see the field again. 

QF might have suggested changing the offense, but the decision was made by the coaches.

Asking to change a failing and unsuccessful offense is a little different than putting in a player who’s arm is beyond tired after a 2 1/2 hour break with other capable pitchers available and a 2-0 lead.
