Joe paterno does not run the score up on anyone.  He has way too much class.  Anything more than 10 - 14 and it was caused by silly turnovers late in the game.

Then he must have it for Akron because theyvescored 48 and 70 on them the last two times theyve played in the past 3 years.

With that said i'll say that it will depend on how much has our defense improved on wether we lose big or not.

Over the past 4-5 years, PSU had a problem SCORING, let alone trying to run it up on anyone.

Considering how bad PSU's offense has been over the recent years, I think Joe Pa has tried to score on anyone and everyone over the past 5 years.

The days of PSU going 10-1 and 11-0 and scoring 40-55 plus pts a game are just a distant memory for most Nittany Lion fans.

A distant memory that they believe will be fully revived this season.  Every team's fans are positive just before the season starts, but the PSU fans are just a bit outrageous in their enthusiasm.
