They have the power on the committee, with a rule that one sitting athletic director from each league must be included in the selection process. They have all the power when it comes to scheduling, and little incentive to set up games against quality non-power-conference programs looking for marquee wins. They have the power to draw viewers, and the financial power that comes with it allows them to mold the very nature of the sport. Hell, they had the power to create the playoff in the first place https://www.theringer.com/2017/12/1/16723918/ucf-knights-college-football-playoff-group-five. But, if the focus is on voting collusion by the committee maybe...but how do you prove that?

Fair point. But here is one other potential problem. If USF or any other G5 team is a part of this law suite how will it impact their future opportunity to get into the P5? This would impact them greater as they won’t get their cupcake and would have to play each other which after a few seasons of getting banged up, they will get tired of going 8-4 or 7-5 and want the g5 schools back on their schedules. In the odd chance that a G5 team does get an invite, that school (hopefully USF) would similarly claim duress, stating that it's conference mates forced them to join the suit and that they never really supported it in the first place😁

Boise, SDSU, Troy, N. Illinois, Toledo, Western Kentucky, Marshall, BYU, Appalachian State, and Arkansas State. Teams that even in their down years are still good for 7-8 wins. Eliminate the FCS games. In the instances where we schedule 2 for 1s with the likes of Texas we need to make up that extra home game with the best bang for our buck. Cheap payday game vs a middle of the road Sun Belt or C-USA teams. Harlan needs to find creative ways to improve our S.O.S.

All about the money.... Quote But people—specifically, people with a vested financial interest in downplaying the abilities of non-power-conference teams—can now keep teams like UCF down and way out. Not exactly sure what to make of it. This was in reply to a tweet from AAC fanboy media guy C Austin Cox saying UCiF deserves to be in (and would win) the Playoffs. Et tu, TBP? Why the shade for the AAC? Kinda seems like crapping where we eat.
