I'm sure he's not looking out for himself.  The coaching staff knew what they had in Flowers and did not know what they had behind him.  Why anyone would think he (QF) was going to replicate his numbers the previous season is beyond me.  The losses of RA and MM were massive to this team's offense.  Again, how people couldn't see this is pretty incredible.

If you re-watch the games he (QF) had loads of opportunities to run, but didn't .  This offense was built to win and protect QF.  It accomplished both goals.  If QF had gotten hurt this team would have been doomed.  Very smart coaching staff and moves.  Much like the moves to pull our slow LBs for extra DBs vs. UCF.

Glad to hear that it was all coaching.  He is very disciplined if they could get that through to him in one year.  To go against one's instincts isn't easy.
