BTW, we haven't been in many dog fights this year.  The Tulane game got close late, but other than the Houston game, what other dog fight were we in at the 5 minute mark of the 4th Quarter?

Tulane. Hell of a comeback they almost put together.

Joe, I think we both know that most are complaining because they know based on cotinued performances like last night that we have very small chance of winning against the very good teams we’ll face in the next 2-3 games (UCF, +\- Memphis and a Bowl).  Their focused on the quality of play and not the net outcome.  As you said, ‘sometimes football isn’t pretty’, or in the case of USF football this year, not a single games was even very good at all.  8 blocked punts, worst penalized team in CFB?  C’mon there are  rose colored glasses and then there’s refusing to recognize that the outcomes of the USF games this year are virtually secondary to shear athleticism and zero coaching.  Oh, and I don’t care about how a few years ago and I don’t think most do on this board.
