I haven’t seen the tinmen play so I’m not ready to surrender anything. Their schedule is kind of slop too.

LOL, no.  They are playing an FCS team and we are playing Houston.  So if both win, no they won't be ranked higher.  If anything, we will increase lead.

If you are talking just about the AP and Coaches Polls, you would be correct.

If you are talking about the CFP, which will be releasing their first poll, I wouldn't bet on USF being ranked better than UCF.

This .............. and Bower won't need to do a whole lot of lobbying, either.

Now that I think about it,  he might even have some bigger grudges against many OTHER schools, who never hired him.

He spent his entire 17 year HC career at Southern Miss (1990-2007) and was very successful. I wonder why he never became a HC in a BCS conference.

"Two days ago Bower clinched his 14th straight winning season with a 16-10 victory over Arkansas State and accepted his 10th bowl invitation in 11 years.

Bower has spent 29 years at the university as a quarterback, assistant coach and head coach.

He was 119-82-1 in 17 years as the school's head coach and had been in the same job longer than all but three coaches in the Football Bowl Subdivision. Only Penn State's Joe Paterno (42), Bobby Bowden (32) of Florida State and Virginia Tech's Frank Beamer (21) have longer tenures with their schools. His only losing seasons came in 1991 and '93."

Again...I would love to know how the committee is determined and I would love to know how this clown got on said committee. Give a computerized process every time.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
