california is oregon's pipeline

the florida thing  will never last longterm

which is why him stacking his staff with all Florida recruiters is a huge risk. He even has David Kelly in a paid position up there. It might work for his first one or two classes but distance & a middle of the pack record will close that up real quick.

That's why I suggested that Oregon schedule a home and home series with USF, if they want to continue with their Florida pipeline. The problem, I heard, is that they have a pretty full future OOC schedule.

UCLA is now also recruiting Florida much more. I think we are starting to discuss a possible future series with them.

That really makes sense...not to mention all of the "relationship" aspects which would make the build up to the game fun (would 'ol Willie run the score on us if he had the chance?). That's a long trip to from for both teams to do this consistently however.

Well, I figured if we could afford to go out west just to play SJSU, we might as well play a home & home series with the PAC. If it works out well, perhaps do it again.

'Twas a blast. Look forward to catching up at a bowl game one of these years!

Taggart beat Cal last night after losing his #1 & #2 Qb, #1 running back, starting DB, and reciever. He has proven 2 be a good coach.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
