This could be a big score for USF if we can convince him to stay home and play for the local team.  He did not do a lot at Auburn, but he has a LOT of talent and could be a starter here.  He was considered to be the number one recruit the year he graduated from HS.

Is it a violation to "recruit" him at this point in time?  If not CCS should have been waiting in the driveway.

So, at best, he has one more year of eligibility remaining? Without a doubt, you do everything you can to sign him. Low risk, high reward.

True enough, but we already have two DL transfers sitting out this year.

Brandon Boyce   DT   4/24/2017   (Will have to sit out 2017, 2 years of eligibility left)  (SIGNED 6/25/2017)

Marquies Price   DE   4/24/2017   (Will have to sit out 2017, 2 years of eligibility left)  (SIGNED 6/25/2017)

With 26 verbals, so far, for 2018 I don't know if we would even have room for him.

I hope that we do, and that he gets a hardship waiver to play immediately.
