Hopefully your boss doesn't have a problem with you doing that two times in the span of 4 months, if you plan in advance.  If it's a problem, I suggest a new job.

No kidding.  Burn 2 vacation days if you have to, thats what they are for

Also, if you're not too old to work, and vacation days are a premium, why is it so hard to come in Friday morning after a Thursday night game?

Probably but people on here will blame Woolard.

No, it's all Skip Holtz's fault.

I blame the system. P5 has no reason to play us, particularly when we are good and their conference rules are starting to prevent them from playing us. They've built the wall between P5 and G5.

Sept 16th Illinois (Friday)
September 21st Temple (Thursday Night Game)

"Actually got it backwards boss. I'm taking a 1/2 day Friday, 1/2 day next Thursday and all day Friday, 'cause there's no way I'm coming to work the day after a game. No need to waste your time and mine. And next month another Thursday and Friday for the Tulane game unless I decide to drive then throw in another 1/2 day on Wednesday."

Work days start at 5:00am at my house. Yes, I am too old to function very well on 4 hours sleep. No, vacation days are not a problem. Within reason I can take as many as I want, but I still have responsibilities that I take seriously and have people that count on me.

I never could figure out Judy's hiring of Woolard , the former St Louis's Basketball only AD . And  then her hiring skippy set usf football back several years .

Talk about road games! USF at San Jose State is a trip but,  Hawaii at UMASS?

The weak schedule is 100% attributed to this. Our better OOC games were for the most part scheduled before the playoffs were formed. Since the inception of the playoff teams realized as far as the committee was concerned FIU and USF hold about the same weight so why not take the guaranteed win over the potential embarrassment of losing to a G5 school. This is the life of the tallest midget in the current NCAA football landscape.

Not to mention USF is no longer taking one and done pay games.
