So do we wait until the end of the season to fire Antigua or do we do it sometime during the season. The young guys have shown promise but losing McMurray is something I dont think he can some back from.

USF Head Basketball Coach Orlando Antigua

 

This morning, Jahmal McMurray informed me of his intent to transfer from USF. Per his request, we have agreed to grant him an immediate release to do so. I wish him the best in his future endeavors. My focus remains on leading the young men on our USF Bulls team as they continue striving for excellence on and off the court.

Big loss for the team. Not sure who will step up as no one has been consistent all year. This pretty much ends Antigua's time here short of the team pulling off a miracle

I'm inclined to believe that McMurray's departure is a signal that that is already in the works.
