The last time Quentin Flowers traveled to SMU it was days after he lost his brother and it was his first ever start. I wonder how or if any of the memories will play a part in the game against SMIU

If anything I think it will motivate him to play well.  I expect another huge game for QF.

I'm very sure QF's chip-on-shoulder factor is high for this one. He will want redemption, to embarrass, humiliate, emasculate, vitiate, and eradicate their pride. Go QF, Go Bulls!

He's at a completely different spot now in comparison to that start. He had about 6 - 8 plays in his arsenal then.  Now, the playbook is wide open and his confidence is at a whole new level.

I'm honestly really happy that the QB situation worked out for both QF and Mike White, he made the right move transferring to WKU.

I was at that game. It was cold, wet and just miserable to watch. The greatest parts were when our bench caught on fire and at the end of the game the SMU students came to cheer next to us for the goal line stance. They were so excited they might win and then we stole it from them! Their faces were so sad hahaha

Then I realized you were speaking metaphorically about our backups. Whew.
